The Science Fair

We enjoyed celebrating our Phizzing with Physics Inquiry with the juniors. We have found new and exciting ways to share our thinking/ hard work. We shared through posters, comics, movies, essays...

What a fantastic way to end the term!

We have been really proud of some of our students who have been working on their projects from home. We managed to talk to a few online!

  1. Hi there! My name is Rachel from Spokane in Washington State! I was looking at your science fair, and I was really impressed with your experiments! I loved your ingenuity and your ideas to show exploration into how things work. How did you come up with the experiments for the black holes? That seemed so thoughtful and well put together! Do you think of using those materials on your own? Were you allowed to design your own experiments? What got you interested in this idea? Keep up the great work and keep your minds engaged! :)

  2. Hi there! I’m Mr. Nelson, a teacher from Washington state, and I absolutely loved these projects! I really liked seeing all the projects revolving around gravity and I was wondering what is the best way of teaching students about gravity? Did you focus on historical context, hands-on experiments, or anything else? What worked best for you?

  4. Hi everyone! My name is Ms. Bruce from Spokane Washington and I just looked over your science projects. They all look wonderful! It reminds me of when I was your age in science class and seeing your excited expressions inspires me as a teacher to do fun activities similar to this with my students in the music classroom. Great work everyone!
