Who is That Band? Some cool guys!

The guy on the saxophone looked mean.  You should have heard him play.  Meeean!

Our friends The Bandits played at the fair and they sounded amazing.  Jesse May John was singing, belting it out, Liam rocking the rhythm, Solly on the keys and Ridley, playing the fine licks on the guitar.  They were joined by a fine young man on the bass (welcome to the Worser Bay Musical Whānau).  The crowd loved it; you were amazing!

The Wonderful Worser Bay Secret Garden Fair

Some of our students working on a stall

Worser Bay School had their Fair, on Sunday the 8th. We had, Toys, Clothes, Shoes, Candyfloss, Lucky Dips, everything!!!

The Fair was a great success and we made loads of money. Everyone had fun and enjoyed the whole day!

At 10:45 we had a parade and lots of kids dressed up to the theme, Our Secret Garden. At the end of the Parade, there was the best dressed Junior Boy, best dressed Junior girl. Best dressed Senior Boy and best dressed Senior girl!!

One of the most excitng parts of the fair was, at 1:30 we had the Ball Run. That's where everyone can buy a ticket for $5 and get a number on their ball. Then when we have sold all the tickets, we run the balls down the ramp and if you get either, 1st, 2nd or 3rd places you win prizes! There also was a Silent Auction, and there were lots of cool stuff you could bid on.
