Summer

We had a fantastic week writing poems about summer and sun. We used visualisation and imagery to help us paint rich pictures of our summer experiences. These are our poems we like to share:
Summer
I can smell the air.
I can hear the waves  splashing and crashing.
The birds are singing at the beach.
The sun is shining on the sand.
I can see the fish swimming around the sea.

Summer

Diving into the waves.

Water washing past my face.

The hot water past my head.

The struggle to eat our iceblocks.

Next day.

Driving out in our boat.

Fishing.

Catching fish.

Putting some back into the sea.

Lying on the sand.

Sun roasting us.

Next day.

Driving home.

Getting into bed.

Sailing with my Dad.

Going in.

Packing up.

The smell of green trees.
