We are learning to be more accurate as we collect data in the intertidal zone. This involves slowing down and really observing closely. As a result we saw things that we have never seen in our lives this morning! Very exciting!
This is a Cling Fish. It holds on to the bottom of the rock.
We think that this beautiful pattern is probably the fish eggs of the Cling Fish.
And this is a Brittle Star, a star fish which looks quite a lot like an octopus.
