Year 6 Tramp, October 2024 - Orongorongo Valley and Tūrere Lodge

Here's a little celebration in pictures of the 2024 Year 6 tramp 

The team, about to set off from Catchpool Valley carpark.

Crossing Midway Bridge (that wasn't actually midway for us). Snack time!

Then, heading down to the swimming hole for refreshing dip.

And chilling out on the beach.

And plenty of willing helpers to get the washing up done after dinner!

A stunning full moon, which we saw slowing rising from behind the mountains.

Next morning, time for games after brekky.

 

Playing by the river again on day two, before heading back.

Lots of Bravery going on here!

Shouldering our packs again, for the walk back to the carpark.

And more snacks at Midway Bridge, this time on the return journey.
