Olympics encouragement

In Gabrielle’s literacy group we have been videoing ourselves reading a script we made to encourage any New Zealand olympic team/competitor.  First we watched a few videos that other people made for inspiration, and we noted down quotes we liked. Next, we got into groups decided by what team we wanted to support, and gathered some of our favourite lines which we put into a script. Then we videoed us saying our lines on the iPad.

Our next step is to put the links to our videos on the NZ Olympic team website so the competitors we made them for will see the vidoes, and how we look up to them and wish them well. We are also going to have some students run workshops on how to use iMovie so that their skills can be shared with the rest of the group.
