Wind Poetry!

We have been writing some poems about the wind and how it might feel!

The wind wants to be an eagle.
Soaring above the ground.
Watching, watching, watching.
Massive wings in the sky,
flapping rapidly.

The wind wants to be a cheetah.
Sprinting into the cold breeze.
Pouncing on its prey.
It wants to be the strong,
capable part of the pack.

The wind wants to be an owl.
It wants to be silent.
It doesn’t want to rustle the trees.
It wants to be swift.
It wants to be seen.

The wind wants to be a cat.
It wants to laze around all day.
It wants to cuddle.
It wants to play.
But most of all it wants a family.
By Bethen

The wind is tired of being blamed for everything.

The wind is tired of being blamed for everything the wind wants to be a cat
Lying in the sun all day.
People saying, ¨ohhhh how sweet."
And being tickled and patted all day.

The wind is tired of being blamed for everything the wind wants to be a magician
It wants to amuse people.
It wants to make people laugh.
It wants to be an inspiration.
