Everyone else- have a great holiday, Happy Christmas, Happy New Year and stay safe! See you 31st January at 8.55am. You can drop your stationary at school and have an informal chat with the teachers from 9-10am on Tuesday 30th January.

Christmas Talent Competition

Molly, Mia, Nell and Isabel were the judges. We saw each act by act. We judged them on how much courage they had, teamwork, their ideas, their costumes and their performance. All of the performances were awesome. We could only choose one winner from each space.

Year 6 having a blast at H20 XStream...

Today we had a blast at H20 Xstream. We went on the water slides, jumped around in the waves and fought over pool floaties. This is our final Year 6 lever's celebration and our last  full day.

A day of fun lead by Wellington High School students

On Monday we had a range of activities that students from Wellington High School lead most of us through. We learned volleyball, kayaking, skim boarding, mountain boarding and football. Most of us also had a swim along the way. The wind and waves came up as the day went on so not everyone had a chance to try kayaking. Thanks to Brooke and his team from Wellington High School for this great opportunity.

Walk to Tarekena Bay

Today we did a big walk from Worser Bay School to Tarakena Bay. On the Eastern walkway, we looked at the flora, the fauna and the landmarks. What a great way to explore and get ready for our Inquiry at the beginning of next year when we will be "Forest Protectors".

A big thank you to all of our parent (and grandparent) helpers!

Year 6 Leaver's Dinner 2017

Last night we had our "red carpet" themed Year 6 Leaver's Dinner! What a great bunch of kids and we will all be sad to say goodbye next Tuesday. Make sure that you all come back to visit our small school on the hill.

Learning to sail optimists

We've had great support from Worser Bay Boating Club to enable all our students to have a try at sailing optimists. Emma and her team - Elliot, Zoe, Polly and Penny - talked to the students about the basics of sailing and the wind direction and then everyone had a turn. We were able to sail on Monday and Friday mornings and all day on Thursday.

The coaches were really nice and it was a great experience - Hugo M
We got to play sponge tag when you thrown the sponge into the tag and you're in , it was fun- Pippa
Sailing can be fun or it can be a good story. Like on some days it can be scary and then it's a good story - Bethen

Hour of Code

Today we had an "Hour of Code" event. Schools across the world have signed up to be part of this event.

We met Bob the robot. We learnt how to code Bob using building blocks.

What a great and fun way to learn how to code.
