I think, I notice, I wonder...

We have been learning to think like Mathematicians. We have been thinking, noticing and wondering. This stimulates curiosity and helps to make new connections.

    We've just looked at your work in our classroom. We loved the problem. We thought (our Thinking) was that the bags have different amounts in them and that there was 10 x 5 bags, which we thought made fifty bags. We noticed that there were double bags, so double fifty was a hundred. We were wondering - if there was only two colours because we disagreed about this. We wondered if all the colours were Autumn colours. We wondered how many counters were in each bag - twenty or thirty we though. Wow! We're doing our own even as we speak!
