One of the workshops was about the beauty of bridges and how they manage to keep their strength when cars go over them.
We learnt about different forces, like gravity and friction, as well as forces that are controlled in a bridge - like tension and compression forces.
Chris made a video about a very long bridge he made on Minecraft and shared with us what attributes it has to make it strong!
We also made some of our own bridges with lego!
